Notice 1 - cement alkalinity

Cement is a highly alkaline material. Contact with wet - unhardened - cement, mortar, concrete or other cementitious material can result in severe ALKALI BURNS or EYE DAMAGE or SKIN IRRITATION. Dry cement powder can also cause these problems by absorbing moisture from the skin or eyes. Avoid contact with cement or wet cementitious materials. If contact occurs, wash any from your skin immediately. Indirect contact through clothing can be just as serious. Obtain immediate medical help if you have persistent or severe discomfort.
