Understanding Cement books -
the book, the e-book and the e-seminar

Book and e-book

The 'Understanding Cement' books - the e-book or the printed version - are intended as training material for individual study and are ideal as an introduction to cement manufacturing, cement chemistry and cement hydration.

Cement is a complex material. Building on the content of the 'Understanding Cement' web site, there is a lot of information packed in but the book and e-book give concise, detailed information in an accessible writing style.

Some people feel the 'heavier' textbooks on cement are not very reader-friendly. The 'Understanding Cement' book and e-book may well contain all you need to know about cement. However, for anyone wishing to read further, either version will provide the basic understanding needed to tackle the standard texts with confidence.

The e-book is intended primarily to be read from a PC screen; however, many people prefer to read printed material, rather than from a screen. The book and e-book cover the same subject matter, the main differences is that the formatting of the text will be different between the two versions.

The cost will be approximately £30 (UK pounds) for the e-book and £35 for the printed version.

If you would like us to let you know (without commitment) when the book and e-book are ready, please use the form below.
